We are trying to raise funds to replace our dumper truck that was used every day to muck out stables and clean the fields of dung.  The cheapest one we can find is £2,500.

At present we are clearing the 30 acre fields of dung every day by wheelbarrow, the stables are also cleaned out every day and the muck taken by wheelbarrow to the muck heap some 200 yards away.  We are exhausting our supply of volunteers literally and do not look forward to the winter without a dumper truck.

We are open every Saturday and Sunday and our volunteers are flat out fundraising; but still cannot manage to raise enough extra funds to finance a dumper.  We now have winter feed and shavings for bedding to purchase as well as replacing old rugs to keep the donkeys warm, not to mention veterinary care.

If anyone can help in any way to raise the funds to replace the old dumper we would be so grateful, because the winter is going to be very hard.
